Hello Darlings,

I've got a bunch of exciting new freebies I've planned for the blog in the coming weeks but this one is just a small starter to the main course ;) This free mini bundle of floral frames will remind you of the vibrant, juicy hues of summer but they are versatile enough to be used in a variety of ways. Check them out below!

Here is a sample of how you can use one of the pre-made templates in the bundle

In the example above, I turned down the opacity of the design a touch to make the text stand out more but you can play around as much as you like. The frames have been used at full opacity in all of the smaller image mockups above.These will also act as excellent divider pages in bullet journals or as cute place cards for a summer brunch the choice is yours!

In the bundle, you get five pre-made template backgrounds as well as separate frames with transparent backgrounds so you can just pop them on top of any other background of choice. The frames come in shades of black, white, gold foiled and multicolored to mix n match and in two sizes: square and rectangular. For more details on what you can use these for, check here.

Every summer, I launch an exclusively summer themed printable collection and funnily enough, those turn out to be the most popular out of all the collections here at Craft A Doodle Doo. Is it because of the loud, joyful, colorful color palette or just because no one can not love summer, I have no idea but all that aside, it's time to rejoice again for although late, 2017's summer collection is here!

FREEBIE JUBILEE // GORGEOUS DIY EID PARTY FAVORS!

Are you ready for some sensation, fun, colorful summery prints? Since Eid came around in the scorching heat of the summer, I've chosen to go with fresh, happy spirited colors. These are a set of seven gorgeous paper bag templates ready to cut and fold at the creases into the cutest packages!
Finish off with a trim of some scrap lace, a cute bow or even cutting up a doily to add that extra touch of pretty. Load them up with candy, body lotions, spritzers or jewelry and lots of love. Eid Mubarak! 
Even for those of you who won't be celebrating Eid, you can still use these to complement your summer pool or bbq parties to sprinkle on some added fun for the guests!

PS: You need to print doubles of each print for the front and back of each paper bag, follow the guidelines on the template to crease along and it will all come together on a snap. Don't forget to print out the lovely tags to complete the look!

This collection is supposed to feel like taking a stroll in an enchanted garden and I hope it feels exactly like that for you. My shop for selling commercial prints was taken down by me ever since the software I used for embedding the shop on the blog was discontinued. However, I've been getting tons of requests for commercial use of these prints so I'm thinking of switching over to Creative Market soon as a commercial outlet. (It's on online digital marketplace and is very popular among designers to host their designs or buy other designers' marvellous creations.)

FREEBIE JUBILEE // DAYLIT SPAS - A VACAY INSPIRED NEW YEAR COLLECTION!

No, I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth but I've decided to keep the blog busy only when I can spare time away from architecture school so that's a bit of sad news; BUT the good news is right here! To kick off 2016, I thought of diving into a fresh and calming theme for my new collection of digi papers. There's a lil bit of everything thrown into the mix. If you love yourself some boho, then you've got to know how closely tied it is to a lot of colorful ornate Indian prints which are breathtaking in their own right. Then there's a bit of agate, carefree doodling and airy lace added in. Lastly, to top of ths free-spirited collection, I've added in the gorgeous Cali palm-tree inspired print. Enjoy!

RAMADAN SPECIALS // FREE PRINTABLE DUAA CARDS

I know we all have plenty of reminders in this precious month everywhere to be more mindful and grateful of everything we've got so I've quickly created a pretty printable duaa card for my Muslim sisters to glance at everyday and memorize this super-beneficial duaa. This particular duaa card has the Syed-Ul-Istighfaar and its transliteration on the front side and the English translation on the back. Reading through the English translation makes this so much easier to memorize.

For those unfamiliar with this duaa, the Syed ul Istighfaar is the best supplication for seeking forgiveness. And just because we are always helping each other out here, the design of the card makes sure that others will adooooooore receiving it as a small thoughtful gift too!

How to: Paste the front print onto one side of cardstock and the back onto the other side. When gifting to someone, hand it over in a colorful envelope. I have lots of envelope prints available in my freebie gallery if you need some help in that department!

It's been the longest time since I've written and it came with this huge  realization that while I absolutely adore blogging and everything so rewarding about it, being in an Architecture major had ultimately taken toll on me, all the more now since I've gone into Senior year. THE FREEBIE JUBILEE- FLORAL OVERLAYS FOR BLOGGERS & DESIGNERS!

This post is a special dedication to all the bloggers and designers out there who need quick-fixes to give their photographs or projects a makeover. I've made a set of the cutest floral png files (for a layman, you can put these anywhere since a png image file type allows transparent backgrounds). These overlays can be used atop your regular backgrounds or pictures to get a speedy, catchy result!
So think loadza pretty images, greeting cards or personalized gift tags and oh-so-glorious scrapbooking! Time to spice up some snapshots!

I'll add in a few steps at the bottom of this post for my regular blog readers to use it too!

If you're using these anywhere for online design or in any pictures in your post on the web, pleaseeee be a darling and give a tiny link crediting back to Craft A Doodle Doo.

If you're printing them out, you don't need to do anything as such. ;)

For non-bloggers/designers:

1. Open up any editing software (MS Word for example.)
(Steps for Ms Word:
On the blank page, simply go to Page Layout options, and choose page colors. The drop down list also shows other options like Fill Effects. Browse for any pattern, gradient or background you wish and apply it on the document. Go to 'insert image' and browse for the overlay element you want and it will appear on your background.)

2.Browse the image overlay from the above that you'd like to use and apply it on the document. (Or just copy-paste)

3.Use the text option in your software to customize the plain design as per need.

*I'm sorry but I have no idea why this doesn't work on Paint. I've tried other softwares and it works fine. :D

Alternatively, print them straight away to minus the hassle and use some gorgeous calligraphy or brilliant handwriting if you have the skills and I'm promise  it'll look stellar!

Q. I've downloaded the files but can't seem to find the software to open them.
A. I've used WinRar which is a compressing software to reduce the file size for quick upload and download. WinRar/Winzip is normally installed in most computers, you just need to right click the downloaded file and extract the overlays.
If you don't have the software already installed, just download Winzip or Peazip & install.

If you're still having problems, just email me at miraclespyer19(at)gmail(dot)com and Ill send over the files to you! :)

The Freebie Jubilee//Free Printable Giftwrap Sets:Readymade!

Today's post doesn't need a cheesy intro from me, because I think the pictures speak for themselves! :) So, anyone up for some really cute gitwrap paper for free? =)

 Your gifts are now outrageously easy to assemble with these sets, just as outrageously cutesie they'd turn out. Each set consists of a giftwrap base, a decorative side trim and a co-ordinating label to round up this definite gorg look.

The first set has an aqua stripes giftwrap base, a vintage floral trim and a gift-tag that I know even dummies can match with the rest of the set.

The second set has a black polka dot giftwrap, a mod floral chain trim and a matching gift tag with hints of sunny yellow!

Great for parties and I also think they'd make a darling surprise to a loved one even when there's no real occasion! Just that touch to make their day extra special!
