I'd taken a huge break from the blog, for many mental and emotional reasons but the biggest one has to be my dearest dad passing away a few months back which took a giant emotional toll on me. Art has always been my escape but for quite a while after, I couldn't even pick up a paintbrush, let alone think of anything creative. It was like that incident sapped the life out of me, beyond any comprehension. However, I'm in the process of picking the pieces back up. As you all know, one of the things which brings me the most joy in life are florals. They were also a favorite of my fathers and I frequently shared all my paintings with him.
