Break has finally ended and I'm back to college again! Add to that nil wi-fi in India plus a few chronic cold + fever days, meaning no new post here for a month. So my apologies to all you loves. :*
Meanwhile,if you've ever been to India's wedding season you're bound to face the terrible humidity that comes along with it. June- August are India's unofficial wedding marathons. Makeup meltdowns become mandatory, buuuuuut that doesn't have to be the case anymore.
You know that flawless face you get right after dolling up? And then about a few hours later everything's just well..not-so-fresh anymore. If you have dry skin, you may even find your skin is asking for a quench of thirst. So ladies, here's our superman, this fantastic diy setting spray. You could make tons for a buck, and it's just a fine mist like those store -bought ones. So without continuing to sound all markety here's what you need:
Proportions:
-3 parts distilled water (I used 3 tsps)
-1 part vegetable glycerin
-1 part rose water
Bottle it up!
-Take a thoroughly cleaned spray bottle and your proportions. Make a small batch, use it for around two weeks and make a new one again. That way, you can ensure you're feeding your skin with feel-good fresh ingredients every time.
-Shake it up gently and you'll end with a clear liquid. Don't spray it too close unless you'd like to drench yourself. 20-25 inches would be the perfect distance.Glycerin helps retain moisture and gives you that petal-glow dewy skin for hours and rosewater provides added benefits. The stickiness glycerin got swag for is what helps keep your makeup in place. No fuss, no smearing. Pure, awesome gratification.
That's how us girls wanna roll, right?
Go tie a bow or whatever (make it cute to celebrate your girliness. That's what I do anyway) or make an extra batch and gift it to your BFFS.
